MDCS stands in the fight with Black Lives Matter. MDCS staff continue to support anti-oppressive and anti-racist actions in New York and across the globe. We pride ourselves on maintaining an environment for staff and clients to explore how injustices have impacted each individual.
Referrals come from a variety of sources including past and present clients, other therapists, churches, colleges, professional schools, the internet, hospitals and hospices. We remain committed to providing accessible and affordable services to children, adolescents, and adults. Services are provided regardless of insurance status. If you would like to receive our services give us a call at
* If you do not receive someone immediately, leave a message with your name and phone number and one of our staff will reach out to you as soon as possible.
On the initial call, we will inquire into your demographic information and begin to gather some information to identify the most appropriate clinician for your needs.
Once you are assigned a clinician, your clinician will reach out to you directly to set-up an initial consultation meeting where you will complete a psychosocial assessment. When coming to your first appointment, you have the option of bringing some of the initial documents with you or completing them upon your arrival. If you would like to print the documents, they are located below.
All treatment is held in the strictest confidence according to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) law (https://www.hhs.gov/hipaa/for-individuals/mental-health/index.html).
